Mushroom Biriyani

Ingredients  required:

Mushroom – 1 retail Packet

Onion – 1 No(Large)

Tomato – 3 no’s

Ginger & Garlic Paste – 1 Spoon

Green chili – 3 no

Gram Masala – 1 Spoon

Chilli powder – 1 Spoon

Cumin Seeds – 1/2 Spoon

fennel Seeds – 1/2 Spoon

Cardomon – 3 no

Cinnamon Stick – 1 no

Bay leaves – 1 no

Cloves – 3 no

Tumeric Powder – 1/ Spoon

Salt – As required

Curd- 1 cup

Lemon – 1 Spoon

Basmati rice  – 1 cup(Soak for 20 mins)

Water – 1 and 1/2 cup

Oil – As required( Small kuzhi karandi)

chopped Coriander – half cup

chopped mint leaves – half cup

Preparation Method:

Heat oil in a pan, Add all the above-mentioned spices in a low flame.

Now, Add onion, ginger garlic paste, green chili and saute well until onion turns golden brown then add tomatoes and saute until till tomato is cooked.

Add turmeric powder, gram masala, chili powder, curd, and salt. Mix it well to make a paste.

Now add mushroom and saute for 2 mins.

Add Water and allow to boil. Finally add rice, coriander, and Mint Leaves.

Close the cooker and wait for two whistles. Open the lid and squeeze the lemon.

Now the yummy Mushroom biriyani is ready.

Tips: Saute well to get great taste.
