Medhu vadai(Ulundhu vadai ) Recipe

Medhu Vadai is one of the tastiest and healthiest food item which can be made easily with short span of time.

Ingredients Required:

Urad dhall or Ulutham Paruppu – 1 Cup

Onion – 1 no(Big)

Green Chillies – 5 no’s

Ginger – Small piece

Coriander leaves – half cup

Salt – As Required

Oil – As required

Preparation:

Soak dhall for 2 hours or more then grind it along with ginger by adding small amount of water(Just sprinkle). To check the consistency just put the small amount of batter in the glass of water. If it floats then the consistency is good for making vada.

Once the batter is fine , add the chopped onions , chillies , corinader and salt .

Now the Vada Mix is ready. for making the vada, apply water in your right hand and take small amount of mix so that it should not be sticky , make the hole in the middle and put it in boiling oil .

Repeat the same for rest of the vadas.

Now the delicious vada is ready.
